Corpus Christi Pregnancy CenterOUR PURPOSE
The purpose of the Corpus Christi Pregnancy Center is to help a pregnant woman who is in a state of crisis to understand and work through the alternatives, enabling her to make an informed decision concerning the outcome of her pregnancy. If the woman decides to carry her baby to term, the CCPC will provide emergency aid in whatever form is available and needed. The aim is to help her move from a state of crisis to a normal level of coping. The CCPC freely acknowledges to the client and the community that it places value upon all human life, from conception onward. As an alternative, abortion ends human life prematurely and unnaturally. Therefore, abortion is an unacceptable alternative. However, the CCPC does not exist to convert people to its position on human life. Each woman is responsible for her own decision, and the CCPC is responsible for accurately providing her with information about the alternative ways of coping with a pregnancy. The CCPC is a Christian response to the needs of women confronted with crisis pregnancies. One of the essential purposes of the CCPC is to meet the spiritual needs of the client in addition to addressing her physical and emotional needs. In presenting the love of Christ through its ministry, the CCPC never discriminates because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, or marital status. The CCPC's assistance is free of charge.
